I’m a huge believer in ‘Investing in Yourself!’ for you.
With this I don’t mean getting yourself into unmanageable debt whilst purchasing a Beamer (BMW) because you’re single an you think it will help you to mingle!
What I mean is, investing in yourself to work towards a happier, healthier you...for your well being!
So don’t buy the back catalogue of the Body Coach cook books if you realistically know you’re going to make one recipe from one book and then let them collect dust with the other cook books you never use.
‘Invest in yourself’ honestly
A few years ago I was only managing a few thousand steps a day. I really wanted to up my steps to the recommended 10,000 steps per day as I knew this would increase my fitness levels and help to build the foundations of my healthier lifestyle plan. So I invested an purchased a fitbit. A fitbit is a great way to track your steps and exercise.
After a short time I realised the fitbit was only tracking around 3000 steps a day.... I needed to change my game and work towards the 10,000 steps per day.
I made small effective changes like taking the stairs instead of the lift, parking further away in the supermarket carpark, walking to the local shop instead of driving....Yes its hard to start with but when you start to smash the 10,000 steps per day you get a buzz and feel so much better in yourself. It then becomes easy to reach that target each and every day and then you become that fitter and healthier you.
Investments can be small, buy yourself a water bottle and fill it up everyday, if you drink two bottles a day, push yourself to drink 3...then 4! Drinking more water has soo many benefits, it keeps you hydrated, better skin, flushes your system out and most importantly...keeps hunger at bay!
Invest in some fitness trainers...and don’t just wear them to take selfies in or go to the pub! Use them to go walking or join a fitness class....or run up and down the stairs 5 times...(you’ll be blowing at the end!)
Invest in something worthwhile for you and use it! Who knows where it will lead you to.
